A truly special day last week from the Honor Flight! HOC Education and Marketing Specialist, Carole Quackenbush, spent time with Peggy Albert, Navy Veteran. Peggy was a Navy Nurse, and served at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland. The two had an emotional day - visiting several of the war memorials in Washington, D.C. and observing heartwarming conversations and interactions between the 88 veterans who made the flight. Carole and Peggy even had the pleasure of meeting two gentleman (a father and son), Donald and Joe Auciello - who happened to be their bus mates for the day. HOC Senior Account Executive, Hayley Kerschen, joined Carole for the amazing Welcome Home at CVG Airport. It was a touching scene for all involved!! (fb)

What a touching Memorial Day service earlier this week - it was an honor to both remember and thank those who died while serving our country. They made the ultimate sacrifice and their contributions will be felt for generations to come. (fb)
