Through the EPA’s Thriving Communities Grantmaking program, they spent over 130 hours preparing for Hebron’s fourth annual youth entrepreneurship summer program, designed to teach young people about the green industry and provide a path to business ownership. The program’s innovative model didn’t stop at education—it promised real economic mobility. Each participant who completed the program and internship would receive full funding for their business licenses, allowing them to officially launch their own businesses. We were ready then.
