Financial literacy has been an important part of the conversation at our LitMoms Clubs, a topic self-initiated by the moms themselves. Thanks to the skills and community they build at LitMoms Clubs, many participants start small businesses. Whether they are selling their own produce at the local market or taking on sewing projects, LitMoms are becoming budding entrepreneurs who need support in managing and caring for their finances. The opportunity to expand their literacy to include financial literacy will continue to set them up as their business grows, allowing them to reinvest in the future of their families.
