Souxie, Ramone, Aretha, and Rotten are four of the NINE most recent cats to show up at one of our stabilized gas station colonies. We don't know how they got there, but we have now trapped eight for spay/neuter/vax. Thank you to everyone who donated to Mr. Ronnie for his cat, Mikey, to receive the dental surgery he needed. While we wish we could say that everything always works out, the reality is that our efforts don't always lead to the outcomes we hope for. Unfortunately, during Mikey's surgery, it was discovered that he had an underlying condition that contributed to a blood clot, and he passed away. Mr. Ronnie and his wife, Barbara, deeply appreciate the support from everyone. Mikey will be cremated, and any remaining funds will go towards the next veterinary visit for another pet in need. We are also sending Mr. Ronnie pet food and supplies to assist him in his ongoing efforts to care for the cats in their apartment complex.
