Last week, Mr. Chris Heck, President & CEO of the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce, stopped by the North Fayette Township Volunteer Fire Department to deliver a generous donation. Following a recent Chamber membership drive, the winner was awarded a reception to celebrate their success. Instead of holding the event, they told Chris, “Donate the funds for the party to a local fire department.” Chris immediately thought of us. We sincerely thank Chris and the Airport Chamber of Commerce for selecting our department, and we especially thank the membership drive winner for choosing to pay it forward.
