Novinky
On day 30 of the Bicentennial Voyage, the Erie Canal Boat Seneca Chief left our friends at the @hudsonrivermaritimemuseum and visited Cornwall-on-Hudson and the Cornwall Yacht Club in the shadow of Storm King Mountain. Today, we made our way to Ossining and some of the crew did yoga on the top of the boat while we traveled through World’s End on the Hudson. We listened to Bob Dylan’s comical Talkin’ Bear Mountain Picnic as we motored under Bear Mountain Bridge and gaped at fall foliage. When we arrived at Shattemuc Yacht Club, we held the second to last Gathering of the Waters ceremony on the voyage with our community partners. Tomorrow, we head to our last stop, Hudson River Park’s Pier 26 in NYC to be in port on Oct. 26th, 200 years to the day after the opening of the Erie Canal to plant the last tree on the Bicentennial Voyage! #eriecanalboatvoyage (fb)
