October is Bullying Prevention Month As we continue to grow in wisdom, it’s important to view bullying through a Biblical lens. Bullying happens when someone repeatedly and intentionally hurts, threatens, or mistreats another person, whether physically, verbally, socially, or online, and often involves an imbalance of power. God calls us to treat others with love, respect, and encouragement. Bullying goes against His design for how we are to live in community. Proverbs 12:18 reminds us, “The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.” As followers of Christ, we are called to use wisdom in our words and actions, choosing to bring healing and life to those around us rather than harm. Let’s commit this month and every day to fostering kindness, respect, and understanding in our community. (fb)
