*Job Opening* Museum Director The Princeville Heritage Museum has a job opening for position of Museum Director. The job is a part-time salaried position with estimated hours of 12 hours per week. Starting salary range $900-$1000 per month. Minimum requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent and one year experience in a business setting with strong emphasis on customer interaction. Summary of Position: Responsible for the entire look, feel, and appeal of the museum. Director will influence programs and services offered to the public, research and design exhibits and direct maintenance and upkeep of the property. The Museum Director will plan, develop, coordinate and implement all of the museum’s activities, including public relations, fundraising, rentals, events and marketing. The mission and purpose of the Historical Association of Princevilleshall be to collect and preserve artifacts relating to the history of Princeville Illinois and surrounding communities including Monica Laura Edelstein and Lawn Ridge. The Historical Association of Princeville uses the Princeville Heritage Museum and the Akron Townhouse School as the setting to inform visitors and local residents regarding Princevilles proud heritage. Through displays programs and events at the museum the Historical Association of Princeville will strive to increase interest and in not only Princevilles past but the history of our nation.
