💛 Help Us Open the Door to Hope Southern Cross Campus Inc. currently houses five resilient young adults—and we have room for three more. But we need your help. One of our youths arrived after surviving homelessness, jail, and nights on the street. When he stepped into our home, he kissed the walls, the bed, and asked to take a shower. Just four weeks later, found a full-time job, made friends, and now has his own room in a safe, peer-supported setting. He’s 19, working hard, and learning how to build a life—with structure, consistency, and love. We’re with him every step of the way. Another young man came to us after years in a group home. Today, he holds a full-time job, is preparing for his driver’s license, and has enrolled in college. And just another arrived by bus. He after just 4 weeks earned his GED, holds a full-time job and is currently working on moving towards obtaining his driver license. Our newest youth is still in high school. His story is intense, and to say he’s been alone in this world is an understatement. But here, he’s found family. It’s taken patience and care—but he’s thriving. With structure and compassion, we know he’ll reach his goals. And soon, one more youth will arrive. Just like the others, we’ll be ready to welcome him home. In a few weeks, Southern Cross Campus Inc. will open a second home to serve even more youth aging out of foster care. But we can’t do it alone. They need your help.
