We’ve been planting a lot of trees 🌱🤪 Across the country, TU volunteers showed up for our rivers and streams during Earth Week.   @nyctrout and @mianustu planted hundreds of trees along the Norwalk and Amawalk rivers, which help create healthy riparian zones that stabilize the bank, provide filtration of natural materials, cool the water, and create healthy fish habitat.   Missed out on the fun? 70+ students. 13 schools. 4,000 trees planted. 2 dumpsters filled with trash. At the TU Costa 5 Rivers Southeast Regional Rendezvous, college anglers showed up in a big way—cleaning up areas impacted by Hurricane Helene, building community, and reminding us that the future of conservation is in good hands.
