The Eden Family Raffle was started in 1977 by a group of Eden parents who wanted to raise funds for their children's school. Then, Eden mom Marge Bloomberg joined the Raffle committee, and ticket sales boomed. She introduced new sales tactics to reach more people, even encouraging parents to set up tables on busy sidewalks to sell tickets. Thanks to Marge's ideas to shake things up and parents' dedication to raising funds, the raffle became an Eden fundraising staple.
