Today, our hearts go out to people in the US whose rights to healthcare are under attack by the US Supreme Court’s decision to block Medicaid patients in South Carolina from accessing care at Planned Parenthood. The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision, Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic, allows states to deny Medicaid funding to Planned Parenthood affiliates – effectively defunding essential healthcare services. This is more than just a legal ruling. This is an attack on affordable healthcare in the United States. Planned Parenthood provides affordable care for people across the country: check ups, cancer screenings, contraceptives, counseling, and abortions. These are essential services that people across the United States use to keep their families safe and healthy. And it’s not just the U.S. – around the globe, sexual and reproductive health and rights are under attack as far-right politicians impose their conservative agenda. Governments are cutting public funds from IPPF Member Associations, stripping communities of access to care they depend on. But we will not sit by quietly and let these decisions be forced on us. We are the outspoken majority. The ones right-wing movement leaders are afraid of, who they try to silence and erase. But we are louder. We are bolder. Today, and always, we’re fighting for healthcare for all. Healthcare saves lives. Funding cuts cost them. Join us. Be loud. Fight back. We will not let them win. (fb)
Every day is a fight against LGBTQIA+phobia. Every day should be #IDAHOBIT. This #IDAHOBIT2025 we are making change, one day at a time. The fight against homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia doesn't happen in isolation. Our work is rooted in global, regional, and local movements that bridge barriers. When we come together across idenitities, languages, and experiences, we can drive deep, transformative change. In the face of hate, we choose unity. In the face of fear we choose courage. And, in every moment, we choose love. Join us to create a world of dignity, equality, and justice for all, and celebrating the unstoppable force of of love and resistance. 🏳️🌈💖 #IDAHOBIT2025 #LGBTQIA #Solidarity #JusticeForAll #QueerLiberation #TogetherWeRise (fb)
