*River Cleanup Day Recap* ROW's Associate Board teamed up with our community and local businesses to care for our river. For over 30 years, each May, Friends of the Chicago River has gathered volunteers to maintain our 150+ miles of river. This year, Executive Director Tara Hoffmann, along with our board and associate board members, dedicated their efforts to cleaning up our waters and green spaces. They collected all sorts of trash, including plastic, tires, and even a whole garbage can! Together, we're making a real difference. A huge thank you to our Bridgeport neighbors and the nearly 3,000 volunteers who joined us!
