Battle of Hard Road Hunger Drive Results This event concluded when the the two high schools played their annual football game. The goal was to see which school could raise the most food and money for their respective community food pantries. Following half time at the game, Dublin Scioto High School, whose donations totaled $2066.61 was announced as the “WINNER” of the battle and received the beautiful ceramic Trophy Bowl, which gets traded back and forth between the schools on a yearly basis to the winner. Worthington Kilbourne High School’s donations totaled $1810.00. WKHS teacher Lauren Glaros and the Worthington Noon Lions extend a heartfelt thanks for all who donated to this annual hunger campaign. Regardless of which school and community wins, their resource food pantries are the real winners. This is the second year in a row for Dublin Scioto High School to take possession of the Trophy Bowl.
