On August 30, 2025, the Northfield Fire Company and Thomaston Volunteer Fire Department proudly co-hosted a high energy Junior Muster. The event featured three competitions: 🔥 HOT SHOT HUSTLE – A three-person relay where each team member suited up in full bunker gear, completed a quick firefighting task, and tagged the next member. Speed and precision were key! 🧑‍🚒 RIT RUN – Teams of two navigated an obstacle course to rescue a downed firefighter. This event tested teamwork, problem-solving, and rescue skills under pressure. 💦 THE BUCKET BRAWL – The grand finale! Teams battled it out with charged hoses, trying to push a bucket along a line to the opponent's side. It was a fierce and fun showdown! 🎉 Congratulations to all the teams! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support the event whether you volunteered, competed, or cheered from the sidelines. We’re already looking forward to next year’s Junior Muster and making it even bigger and better! (fb)
