Ok who can resist these SUPER cute kids at Ndoto Academy doing art projects in class?!?! (fb)

On Sunday we got to officially welcome our founder and director Allison Schlack, her husband and our Kenya director and pastor Michael Omondi, and their three kids Michaela, Judah, and JJ to the USA with a grand party at one of our partner churches, Prince of Peace Lutheran in Carrollton. Special thanks to Roxane, from our Board, and Janet, a Board spouse, who organized a wonderful opportunity to visit with friends new and old. Among the reconnections were two couples who were neighbors long ago and now both support Ndoto, our longtime volunteer Christi who came in from New Mexico meeting our newest Board member Susan, who came in from Pennsylvania, a longtime missionary in the Solomon Islands seeing her former pastor again, getting to meet a former Board member's new baby, and so many more. We sometimes refer to the "Ndoto family" and it sure felt that way on Sunday! (fb)
