(OWI) is a faith-based, non-profit organization (since 2004), whose mission is to empower and equip our adopted poor village in rural Kenya to care for the orphans and widows, the sick and the poor. Purpose We provide education, hope and health in collaboration with the village community by sponsoring education of the orphans and vulnerable children from primary levels through high school and even college. We facilitate educational seminars and conferences and organize mobile medical clinics in collaboration with local professionals. Our dedicated directors and board members in the U.S. serve entirely as volunteers with no paid staff and minimal overhead! Our aim is to come alongside of the Kenyan community by giving a hand up rather than a hand out.
