Modest Community Services MODEST COMMUNITY SERVICES WHO WE ARE Modest Community Services is a nonprofit organization approved and regulated by the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities OPWDD to provide programs services and support to people with developmental disabilities of all ages and their families. At Modest we provide therapeutic framework which combines personcentered planning and innovative habilitation support and services that are developed to inspire the individuals to learn the skills necessary to live a more productive and independent life within their community. OUR MISSION At Modest Community Services our mission is to provide a variety of personcentered services and support to help individuals with autism intellectual and developmental disabilities gain independence integrate into the community and live fulfilling lives. To achieve this we offer day habilitation as well as community habilitation vocational skills internship opportunities residential services recreational activities and referral services.
