Attention drivers: Middle Belt Road improvements are scheduled in Livonia. Wayne County will begin a surface rehabilitation project on Middle Belt Road from Joy Road to Plymouth Road (M-14) in Livonia starting the week of Aug. 11. The work includes: * Asphalt milling and resurfacing * Concrete base repairs * Curb ramp upgrades * Updated signage and pavement markings Traffic Impacts: * At least one lane of traffic in each direction will remain open * Access to all homes and businesses will be maintained throughout the project * Reduced speed limits may be posted * Flaggers will be present as needed—use caution when driving through the area Timeline: The project is expected to be completed by Fall 2025, weather permitting.
