Let’s see what we have planned for June… 🎨 50 Years 50 Works Opening Reception: June 6, 5-8 pm. �Throughout their 50 years, Sweetwater has welcomed countless artists through their doors, providing space for creativity and growth. This exhibition celebrates 50 of their past and present instructors, students, and artists. @sweetwaterartcenter 🎬 “Steel Links” Public Premiere: June 9, 7 pm. The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center in Sewickley has partnered with WQED to show this one-hour documentary. The film weaves together the rich history of Oakmont Country Club and its profound connections to the industrial city where steel fueled America’s ascent to power. @thelindsaytheater 🎷 Sweet Jazz: June 13 & 20, 6-9 pm. For over 15 years, Sweet Jazz has been a beloved tradition and now, Sweetwater is taking it to the next level! Enjoy music by The Boilmakers on the 13th and a curated evening of Jazz Generations with Paul Thompson on the 20th. 🎟️ @sweetwaterartcenter 🪴 Alex Watrous Opening Reception: June 20, 5-7 pm. Join Sweetwater for an opening reception as we celebrate Alex Watrous’ ceramic works. Her work focuses on functional wares for the home and garden. @sweetwaterartcenter 🌸 Blooms Market: June 21, 9-1 pm. A community-driven fresh flower market and art showcase takes place on one Saturday each month. The market has fun for the whole family with children’s activities, games, and plenty of opportunities to shop, play, and connect. @sweetwaterbloomsmarket 🌟 Night Mart: June 27, 6-9 pm. The Sewickley Night Marts feature live music, food trucks, artisan vendors, and local businesses. This year, we are expanding our Night Mart event footprint down Walnut Street, in addition to Beaver Street!
