Summer is off to an exciting start at the Black Mountain Boys & Girls Club! Our first two weeks of camp have been packed with fun and learning. During Space Week, we made slime, UFOs, and aliens, tackled an egg drop and catapult challenge, and got creative painting mugs with a special visit from Willing Hearts. Then we jumped into Circus Week with clown faces, popcorn buckets, and paper lions! The kids balanced on our tightrope, tested their aim at the ring toss, and even went on their first field trip, where they made their very own pizzas! On top of all the fun, our staff is working hard every day to keep those brains sharp with math and reading enrichment. We’re just getting started! #BGCAppalachia (fb)
