At the Stowers Institute, great minds are at work seeking to understand the function & behavior of living organisms, paving the way for future medical advances. The Stowers Institute for Medical Research is a non-profit, basic biomedical research organization dedicated to improving human health by studying the fundamental processes of life. THE GRADUATE SCHOOL OF THE STOWERS INSTITUTE FOR MEDICAL RESEARCH ("GSSIMR") IS A TAX - EXEMPT ORGANIZATION WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE ("CODE") AND FURTHER DESCRIBED AS AN EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATION UNDER SECTION 170(B)(1)(A)(II) OF THE CODE. GSSIMR PROVIDES GRADUATE EDUCATION RELATING TO MEDICAL OR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH WITH AN EMPHASIS ON INNOVATIVE RESEARCH TECHNIQUES IN THE BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES. GSSIMR OFFERS A RESEARCH BASED PH.D.
