Caribbean Women's Health Association (CWHA), a partner organization of Sun River Health, has teamed up with the NYC Department of Correction to launch a comprehensive doula program on Rikers Island. The initiative provides prenatal, postpartum, and nursery care to incarcerated pregnant women and new mothers, focusing on compassion, education, and support through reentry.
