On Wednesdays, we wear pink! To kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, NEW Health staff rocked pink today. This month aims to educate people on the importance of early detection and access to care. Breast Cancer Awareness Month has been recognized for nearly 4 decades and there has been a drastic decline in mortality rates for breast cancer in that time. Happy National Recovery Month! NEW Health celebrated with an event at our Charlestown site earlier today which included 2 guest speakers who shared their experience with addiction, community members, refreshments, and our Substance Use Disorders (SUDs) team.
