We can better fight antisemitism when we help decision-makers define it. Reach out to elected officials asking them to support the Antisemitism Awareness Act, which would enact into law the policy established by the previous three administrations to utilize the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) Working Definition of Antisemitism in evaluating federal civil rights claims under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. More than 1200 governments and organizations have adopted this definition, including 37 states. It is long past time for Congress to put this definition into law.
