Bisbee Through the Eyes of Ted DeGrazia On exhibit until May 26, 2025 At the Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum and the Muheim Heritage House Museum Bisbee Through the Eyes of Ted DeGrazia is a twin-venue exhibit featuring Ted DeGrazia’s artwork at the Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum and the Muheim Heritage House from January 18, 2025, through May 26, 2025. Most of the known oil paintings from Ted DeGrazia’s Bisbee years -1936 to 1942 – will be on display in these exhibits. This includes a remarkable series of nocturnal street scenes from the 1940s that allows us to see the quiet, nearly empty streets of downtown Bisbee, as DeGrazia made his way home from the Lyric Theater every night after midnight. Bisbee Through the Eyes of Ted DeGrazia is a collaborative exhibit developed in partnership with the DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun, Muheim Heritage House, and Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum. Part-Time Museum Admissions and Store Associate Position Description The Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum seeks a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized sales associate to join our team. In this position, you will be key in driving sales by engaging visitors and assisting in selecting and handling customer purchases. You will also manage a cash drawer, welcome guests, keep the store tidy, restock merchandise, and other duties as assigned. You will be responsible for opening the museum (turning on lights, checking exhibits, starting videos, and unlocking doors). This position requires working two consecutive weekends per month along with corresponding holidays and special events. This is a part-time position with no benefits. An estimated 26 hours of work per month is anticipated to be performed, with additional hours possible. The anticipated salary is $14.70-$15.00 per hour. Being a part-time position, this job offers the applicant time for personal endeavors, such as travel or education. Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Previous experience in customer service, sales, retail, or related field; Strict adherence to company philosophy and mission statement; Knowledge of Bisbee history preferred; Eagerness to learn a plus; Possess an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to approach and interact with customers; Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team; Required to work weekends, corresponding holidays and be flexible regarding your schedule; Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
