A huge thank-you to the Beaver Area School District JROTC and their incredible instructors for helping guide every single 6th grader at Dutch Ridge Elementary through a full morning of local history this Wednesday! More than 140 students explored the Beaver Area Heritage Museum, the 1802 Log House, and the site of Fort McIntosh. Even for students who aren’t “into history,” there’s power in knowing more about where you’re from. We’re proud to help spark curiosity, connection, and hometown pride in the next generation.
