“Never give up.” Bogireddy Kaveri is a BTech student at JNTUK, where she is pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. At home Bogireddy’s household was reliant on the income of just her father, a mason, as her mother was a homemaker. Unsure of what path she should pursue academically they watched as his older sister, Vasundhara, successfully completed her BTech degree at JNTUN. This opportunity allowed her sister to open up a new realm of possibilities, and this inspired Bogireddy to do just the same. As she began to study engineering in school, she became very interested in both the construction and civil side of their degree. She worked hard in his studies and recently received a job offer from L&T; a multinational conglomerate company in Mumbai. Furthermore, outside of the classroom, Bogireddy has secured many prizes in running. The Next Step Foundation has inspired her and their goal in the future is to give back and provide help to at least ten students with education. #equityineducation (fb)
