Recently, Haiti Outreach conducted a survey within 9 of the communities we serve to measure the impact of our services. Our findings were incredible! Some of the most impressive results were as follows: -83% of households report major reduction in medical expenses from waterborne diseases -89% of households now save money on healthcare costs thanks to improved sanitation -78% of households say their household economic situation has greatly improved -78% of households have used Haiti Outreach systems for 3+ years, which is evidence of long-term impact! -100% of participants gained water committee management skills -100% say leadership training improved economic opportunities -83% learned conflict resolution and problem-solving skills This is what sustainable development looks like. When communities have clean water, sanitation, and leadership training, they don't just survive - they thrive.
