Thank you for a Successful JFS Back-to-School BBQ! The JFS Annual Back-to-School Barbeque on Thursday, August 14th was a huge success — and it couldn’t have happened without the power of community coming together. A heartfelt thank you to: -The inspiring women of Women’s Philanthropy of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation for more than enough backpacks full of supplies for the 100+ youth at housing -Our generous JFS donors -JFS Board Chair, Jason Steigman -Event sponsors: Individuals, WaterStone Bank and Tri City Bank -The North Shore Health Department -Brown Deer Village Manager Tyler Burkhart and Board of Trustees -The Brown Deer School District -And a special shoutout to our incredible JFS staff from: --JFS Campus Supportive Services - now on site at each JFS Housing entity --The JFS Outpatient Mental Health Clinic providing School Based Mental Health in six schools as well as at Bradley Crossing Clinic and Jackson Street --CCS Case Management Teams for Adults and Youth Thanks to everyone involved, students, families and residents from across the campus received essential supplies, enjoyed a delicious meal, and felt the support of a compassionate community cheering them on.
