Proud to have 4 teams represent the SLV at the state Envirothon Competition last week! Teams from Center and Del Norte High School did a great job completing tests in Aquatics, Forestry, Wildlife, and Soils, as well as delivering a presentation to a panel of judges. Congrats to one of the Del Norte teams who placed 4th overall. Everyone rocked it!🥳 Special thanks to the Center Conservation District and Rio Grande Conservation District for supporting the teams. That's a wrap for our "Steward's Week" (ages 11-13) of Conservation Camp! Thank you to the U.S. Forest Service-Rio Grande National Forest, SLV Area extension, Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Luis Valley, and many others for leading activities and inspiring tomorrow's land stewards!
