Recap of our field trip to LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes with students from Warren High’s Art & Photo Department! ✨🖌️📸 Thanks to a bus grant provided by LA Plaza, students had the opportunity to explore current exhibitions CONEXIONES & TONÁNTZIN and participate in a DIY sketchbook workshop led by our teaching artist @mimidoyo Students used their sketchbooks to draw and reflect on what inspired them - and we wrapped up the day with lunch at Placita Olvera! A big thank you to @laplazala and @warrenartdept for making this day possible! CONEXIONES is currently on view at LA Plaza through Sunday, May 11, as part of the Getty’s PST Art: Art & Science Collide initiative. The exhibition highlights the work of nine community-based organizations across LA, including Stay Arts.
