The 8th annual Field of Honor has ended, and we owe our gratitude to everyone that participated, attended or supported this moving display of 1,100 US flags. The Field of Honor is the largest project of our Rotary club, and is also our largest fundraiser. Since the first year, our club has donated over $500,000 back to our community, through funding projects such as the playground equipment at the Forest Public Library, or by supporting other organizations, such as the National Center for Healthy Veterans (Valor Farm), American Red Cross, Lynchburg Daily Bread, Isaiah 1:17, Miriam's House, Lynchburg Area Veterans Council, Salvation Army, Forest Fire Department, CASA, and many, many more!
