2020 Marsha Bazylak Memorial Nursing Scholarship Marsha Bazylak proudly dedicated 42 years of service to UPMC McKeesport. She lived and breathed the life of a nurse. Since her passing in March of 2017, her legacy of care is being carried on by her family, through the creation of the Marsha Bazylak Memorial Nursing Scholarship. The Marsha Bazylak Scholarship Committee is responsible for assuring the scholarships are awarded to individuals who meet the eligibility requirements. The distribution of the award will go directly to the individual to defray the cost of tuition or educational fees. QUALIFICATIONS • Nursing School GPA 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) • Attend an accredited nursing program in the Western PA which prepares the individual to become a registered nurse • Priority will be given a to junior or senior level students in a BSN program or second year students in diploma /associate degree programs APPLICATION PROCESS 1. Complete Scholarship Application and Personal Statement. 2. Submit 2 Letters of Recommendation a. Personal b. Faculty member in the School of Nursing 3.
