Our hearts are still full from Paulo’s Welcome Event in June. After visiting New York and Philadelphia, Paulo made his way to rural Missouri to meet with HFC supporters, travelers, and friends. Paulo shared his story on how he got his start with HFC, updated the teams on current projects, and emphasized HFC’s impact in remote communities. HFC continues to grow through the support of donors, sponsors, volunteers, and leaders like Paulo who believe in improving quality of life for children in East Africa through community based initiatives. Special thank you to Crosswind Ranch for hosting HFC volunteers, staff, family, and friends for such a special evening. We were expecting a small get together and were met with a home full of stories, laughter, and delicious food. Past volunteers drove in from different states and even left graduation parties a little early to welcome Paulo as he has welcomed countless travelers and volunteers over the years.
