Here’s how to get into Warrior II pose aka Virabhadrasana 2 : 🔴 While facing the long side of your mat, stretch your arms straight out from your shoulders and make your feet parallel to each other in a wide stance. You want your ankles to be approximately beneath your wrists. 🔴 Make your right foot and knee turn to face the front of your mat. 🔴Then place your left toes in an angle slightly inwards toward the upper left corner of the mat. 🔴Next, bend the right knee and stack it over your right ankle. 🔴Balance out your weight evenly between both your legs. Press down through the outer edge of your back foot. Keep your shoulders over your hips. 🔴 Reach strongly through both arms toward the front and back of the mat and turn your head to look past your right fingertips. 🔴 Hold it here for about 5–10 breaths. 🔴To come out of the pose, exhale as you press down through your feet, then inhale and straighten your legs. 🔴Repeat on the other side. #yoga #yogatips #yogainafrica #goodhealthandwellbeing #community (fb)
