The CGC represents clinical cytogeneticists, molecular geneticists, and molecular pathologists to promote best practices & education in clinical cancer genomics The CGC is focused on education and promoting best practices in clinical cancer genomics. The Cancer Genomics Consortium (CGC) is committed to providing high-quality education and promoting best practices in clinical cancer genomics. Goals: To provide expert and comprehensive knowledge of underlying genomic alterations to help manage individuals with, or at risk of, cancer. To provide an innovative educational forum for the better utilization of genomic technologies for clinical laboratory testing. To develop best practices for genomic laboratory testing in the evaluation of neoplasia. To generate real time curated resources for clinical genomic testing To promote and facilitate multi-center genomic cancer translational research. To value and support the intersection of cancer and constitutional testing. Vision: All cancer patients will be accurately diagnosed.
