Based in NYC. Offering plant walks, botanical lectures, student scholarships and scientific publications. We are the oldest botanical society in the Americas. The Torrey Botanical Society is an organization comprised of people interested in plant life, including professional and amateur botanists, students, and others who simply like to enjoy nature. We offer free lectures and fieldtrips to the public. Publications of the Journal of the Torrey Botanical Society and Memoirs of the Torrey Botanical Society. Promotion of interest, education, and research in plant science.
