"Elijah was diagnosed with T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia at 5 years old. We are still going through intense treatment but should be in maintenance and going back to school this October. I have to say Dragonfly Foundation has brought joy and smiles to Elijah and our family during a time that we didn’t think joy would be possible. They have supported Elijah through this difficult journey, but it doesn’t stop there. This foundation supports the ENTIRE family. The provide events for families to participate in to make memories together. We are in clinic or in the hospital all the time so when we are able to have fun things to do outside of the hospital it is so wonderful. Also, with Elijah’s recent admission to the hospital they gave him a Lego to work on which is his favorite. But again, they helped the whole family. They had a craft gift for my daughter Kinsley as well and her name was on it. This is a personalized touch that brought tears to my eyes and still cry over how happy I am that they focus on the entire family and healing through this difficult journey. Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday at Wetherington Golf and Country Club for the 15th Annual Dragonfly Golf Classic! This year, 132 players joined us for the 2025 Golf Classic. Thanks to their support and the generous donations of our sponsors, we raised over $80,000 to support patients, siblings, and caregivers on their pediatric cancer journeys. Despite the rain, it was a wonderful day filled with strength, courage, and joy!
