Sermon Recap: Road Trip – Oh, the Sights You Will See Acts 17:16–34 | Pastor Richard Browning This week, we followed Paul’s journey in Athens and were reminded of how to stay faithful when challenges come our way. Paul faced opposition, yet he responded by remembering his purpose and keeping Jesus Christ at the center. One way we as believers meet challenges is when roadblocks appear in our lives—we must hold firmly to the truth that Jesus is at the center of who we are as His people. Paul also showed us the importance of connecting with others. Before sharing the Gospel, he found common ground with the people of Athens, opening the door for God’s truth to be received. Finally, Paul planted the seeds of God’s Word, and many believed and were saved through the message of Jesus Christ. Like Paul, we are called to respond with faith, connect with others, and plant seeds of hope—trusting God to bring the harvest. 🌱 👉 Missed this week’s service? 💥 We had such a blast last week! 💥 Our amazing preschool teachers took part in a Self-Defense Class led by the Lee County Sheriff’s Department 🛡️—equipping them with valuable skills while having fun together.
