It will be a sort of lecture/performance featuring music that some of you might remember from my PNME solo cello show for. The presenting organization, BiteWellness was founded by a UPMC neuropsychologist (and regular PNME concertgoer!) who worked with me to create special images and videos of my brain activity while performing. A thousand thanks to the Avaloch Farm Music Institute for hosting us last week for the Heretic's Guide to Musicianship workshop. It was a gift of time and space to be together, make incredible music by Ivette Herryman Rodríguez, Pierre Jalbert, Composer, and Caroline Shaw and to go deep on musicianship, interpretation, score study, work/life balance, bowings and vulnerability with all the participants.
