Supporting Cambridges community through education. The Friends of the Community Learning Center established in 1992 is an allvolunteer 501c3 nonprofit organization that supports adult education at the Cambridge Community Learning Center CLC. Adult education is for adults who need to further their education and training in order to improve their lives and the lives of their families and be contributing members of their communities. Generously supported by our Community Partners Scholarships college prep We support Cambridgebased learners on their path to highereducation through annual scholarships and collegeprep courses Key learning resources We provide CLC students with the resources and supplies they need to be successful including access to technology basic school supplies and English as a second language classes Miscellaneous student needs We understand that as our students pursue their dreams unexpected obstacles can come up thats why we assist with emergency student costs that could potentially inhibit their learning experience Our students have gone on to attend schools such as Going to the BridgetoCollege Program was one of the best decisions Ive ever made I am so excited to be be starting at Bunker Hill Community College in pursuit of a nursing degree.
