Players are (1st row) B. Garr, G. Robinson, B. Tomkins, H. Moffet, E. Smith, J. Auld, G. Carroll, A. Adkins, F. Tindall, and P. Fincher; (2nd row) K. Gentry, H. Cameron, R. Camp, E. Tomkins, C. Bass, H. Brock, B. Cameron, T. Bickham, C. Kendrick, B. McMurry, E. Higgins, and C. Knox; (3rd row) S. Abercrombie, L. Fulmer, J. Robertson, E. McClung, F. Williams, E. Adams, E. McKenzie, J. Cameron, L. Thompson, and C. Adkins. The next picture features Haynesville's 3rd state chapionship team from 1936. They had a perfect 12-0 record. The team scored 344 points, giving up only 17 points. Cecil Crowley was the coach from 1936-1938. Since that time Haynesville has won many more state championships. Does anyone have these players identified? (fb)
The Haynesvillle Colored High School football team posed for this photograph in front of the school in 1952. The school building was built in 1927 on 12 acres of land donated by Verge White. In 1960, the school was renamed Woodson High School in honor of Carter B. Woodson, a nationally known educator and historian. A total of 753 studets were graduated from this school. Can you identify any of these young men? (fb)
