This morning we went on a short safari ride and saw lots of beautiful African animals. Afterwards we helped collect chickens and built coops to house them. We are giving the coops and chickens to families in need that will use them to make money and also for food. We added to the excitement by having a chicken coop contest. It was so much fun and we all loved working together to help others! Tonight was Zulu night and we got to learn more about the Zulu culture through amazing food, cultural discussions and dance! It was an awesome day of service and learning! (fb)
We had another great day today spending time in the NH community with our friends at a foster placement center, preschool and community school. It as so wonderful to se so many familiar faces and make so many new friends too. ❤️Isaiah 40:31 (fb)

How do you RESTORE HOPE to a community. The Situation Many communities around South Africa are torn apart by devastating cycles that keep them from thriving. Contributing factors such as apartheid poverty lack of education tribal and spiritual beliefs put the country in a weakened state years ago. When the AIDS pandemic hit it wiped out millions and helped to create a critical situation which held the community in a bad cycle of poverty death and disease.
